Dreams, Miracles and Jazz is an anthology of new writing in English from writers born in Africa or of African parentage.

The anthology is thematically diverse, covering almost all of the major contemporary African issues such as AIDS, migration (both within and outside the continent), land issues and identity.

Dreams, Miracles and Jazz celebrates the art of storytelling, and will be enjoyed by anyone who appreciates good fiction and wonderful writing.

Dreams, Miracles and Jazz es una antología de nueva escritura en inglés de escritores nacidos en África o de ascendencia africana.

La antología es temáticamente diversa y cubre casi todos los principales temas africanos contemporáneos, como el SIDA, la migración (tanto dentro como fuera del continente), cuestiones relacionadas con la tierra y la identidad.

Dreams, Miracles and Jazz celebra el arte de contar historias y será disfrutado por cualquiera que aprecie la buena ficción y la escritura maravillosa.

Osita Obi, uno de estos 25 escritores fue alumno mío de español en Karibu en los años 2000-2001-2002. Su narración cuenta la terrible experiencia vivida por ocho personas en Ceuta, antes de llegar a España. Tiene otros libros publicados, también en inglés.
